We are proud that our installation in the Belgian Museum ‘Plug Street 14-18 experience’ has been nominated for the German Design Award 2016. Hopefully this will help this interesting and beautiful project to get the attention of even more people than before.

First we would like to say our company is overwhelmed with excitement at the idea of being nominated for the German Design Award 2016. Even more so, we couldn’t be prouder that our installation in the Belgian Museum “Plug Street 14-18 experience” is the project in question, so much history and effort went into expressing a very honest and yet hard topic. The exposure from this can only lead to us being able to express more projects and have the opportunity to realize more ideas in this space.

German Design Council

The German Design Council was originally founded by decree of the first German Federal Parliament and was established as a foundation in 1953 by the Confederation of German Industry (BDI) and several leading corporations.
Nowadays 200 design-oriented companies with a total payroll in excess of 2.0 million persons are members of the German Design Council.

German Design Award

The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. Started in 2012, it is already one of the best-known design competitions in the world and is held in high regard well beyond professional circles.

The competition places the highest demands on the evaluation of its prize winners: the unique nomination process ensures that only those products and communication design achievements are invited to participate which stand out with proven design quality.
